Interior Designs has a team of fitters, who are qualified for not only the fitting of your kitchen or bedroom but also electrical work, plumbing, tiling, flooring, plastering and all joinery work, . We offer the full service from start to finish. Including removal of the rubbish.
We also specialise in a range of solid worksurfaces such as Natural Granite, Quartz stones and Caesarstone all of which now come with a 15 years guarantee and are manufactured to the highest quality again in the UK.
With our wide range of appliances NEFF, Bosch, Hotpoint, Prima, Stoves, Belling, AEG, Bora and many more, Along with our fantastic range of sinks and taps there is no reason to look elsewhere.

Janice McBeth managing director of Interior Designs NE Ltd has been in the industry for over 41 years, and has owned her Sunderland based showroom for 30 years, so she knows exactly how to make the best use of the space you have with practical yet beautiful designs.

Lisa Mitchell Showroom Manageress has worked in the fitted furniture business for over 20 years mainly from our Sunderland showroom. She is fully trained in all aspects of design, for your bedroom, kitchen or study including our 3D Articad drawing package.
She can help you with any queries you have from helping you choose the right styles and colours to design and fitting questions.
Lisa’s Favourite part of the job is helping customers choose there colours, styles and accessories for there dream fitted kitchen or fitted bedroom, then hearing and seeing how happy there are once its completed. Giving you your dream room is what makes her smile.

Paul have been employed by Interior Designs Ltd for over 19 years in that time fitting 1000’s of Bedrooms, Kitchens, and Studies throughout the North East, each one is fitted to the highest standard. Paul project manages all jobs including surveying them before fitting so he defiantly knows his stuff. Questions during fitting? he has no problem in answering them.
Within the team we have a large range of qualifications just a couple include fully qualified electricians to LVT floor fitters. Making fitting Kitchens and Bedrooms a lot easier as we organise everything.
One of their most recent qualifications is in fabrication of Corian worktops, this makes Interior Designs NE Ltd the ONLY kitchen showroom in the North East at present, which fabricates their own Corian worktops in house.
Paul is also our in house surveyor, checking all measurements before manufacture, this is now included in all fitted sales free of charge.

Our other fitters include Keith, Peter, Gruff and Craig.
Keith and Peter have worked alongside interior designs for around 25 years, fitting Kitchens and bedrooms to 100’s of happy customers. They are both perfectionists and nothing is too much trouble.
Our joiner Craig mostly concentrates on joinery work such as skirting, internal doors etc. and is very skilled in his craft. He can turn his hand to anything.
Other members of our team include Arran and John the Plasterers, Barry the Gas Engineer, Kevin and David the tillers, Lee and Humps our electricians.

Marc our LVT floor fitter who does an amazing job at prepping and fitting luxury Vinyl tiles to many of our fitted bedrooms and fitted kitchens.
